Major Duties & Responsibilities:
Inspection of incoming piping materials.
To carry out inspections of the Piping works during prefabrication, assembly and erection
stages
Inspecting and conforming the fabricated spools as per isometric drawings and in
accordance to client standards and satisfaction prior to welding
Checking the spools whether they are meeting the approved specification, methods and
drawings
Issuing the Non Conformance Reports under non-complying conditions
Verifying piping material identity (pipe, valves and fittings) and its conformance to
installation/erection drawings
Prepare the documents for the QC activities and test packages. Updating all QC activities
and prepare the Test packages status and progress reports.
 Supervise activities inclusive of fabrication, piping installation, pressure testing and pre
commissioning
Monitor and witness pressure test of pipelines according to the piping class, test limits and
required pressure testing
Preparation hydro test packages with all supporting documents and ensure
clearing of punch point prior to pressure testing.
Raise the RFI (Request For Inspection) to witness the Client
Verify materials as per fitting and pipe mill certificate
Review and maintaining records of Calibration certificates of Instruments
Assisting inspection and testing procedure of piping system
Coordinate with construction, testing group, and QC department in the preparation of test
requirement of each test pack and facilitate close out of any outstanding punch items
before and after pressure test
