equipped with a Smartboard that will be needed to project the ongoing
presentation.
The teacher tech-specialist will use their laptop to project the
presentation.
Presented by:
Lindy Lee (technoology coordinator) As the technology coordinator of
the district, my responsibility is to ensure that all teachers are exposed
to technology integration professional development. It is my goal to
make sure that all teachers in the district get as many opportunities as
possible to learn about Google Suite because it is one of our district
initiatives.
Teacher tech-specialist from each school site will run their own PD at
their own school.
Expected Outcome: This professional development is a self-guided online
learning. All teachers will be Google certified by the end of year 1. I know
that this goal is set with high expectations, but if we get anywhere from 70-
80% teachers Google Level 1 certified, it will be a huge accomplishment.
The end goal is really for teachers to be able to teach these Google tools and
pass this information on to their students.
