Limited Warranty
ARUZE warrants that the products it manufactures will be free from defects in materials
and workmanship for a period of six (6) month commencing on the date the products
are installed (except as otherwise provided in any separate sales agreement). Within
this period, ARUZE will provide replacement parts at no charge for the products
covered under this limited warranty when a part requires replacement.
This warranty does not cover any damage or failure caused by or attributable to
improper installation, improper usage, abuse, improper maintenance, excessive
operating voltages, or repairs performed or recommended by anyone other than an
ARUZE technician or an authorized distributor of ARUZE.

Install the tower light on the top box in the following procedure:

6. Pick up the tower light, and insert the harnesses from the TOWER LIGHT into the
hole located on the top box.
7. Screw the tower light on the top box from the inside of the top box by inserting
one of the 2 screws into the hole of the earth cable terminal lug before tightening
it.
NOTE:
Make sure that the screw on the top of the tower light is located on the backside.

9. Return the LCD unit in the reverse order of the above.

This chapter shows how to power on and how to prepare before starting the operation.
CAUTION!

The shield of the hopper motor may be hot.
Wait until the shield cools down before touching the hopper.

Before turning ON the machine, check the following:
When the machine starts up, the start-up self test is performed. During the test, NOW
CHECKING is displayed for the item Program test while the machine is checking
the program loaded to the RAM. The display turns to OK when the check is
normally finished.

2. Load tickets into the ticket supply tray, making sure that the black dot is
positioned as shown below:
3. Insert the leading ticket into the printers insertion guide until about a half of the
ticket is fed into the mechanism.
4. The machine automatically completes the feeding process.

Used to post a win to the credit meter without betting on DOUBLE
UP (if any).
CASHOUT:
Used to cash out the accumulated credits.
CHANGE:
Used to call an attendant.
START FEATURE:
Used to start the feature won.

CAUTION!
When the hopper is getting short for coins/tokens, or when there is no coin/token in the
hopper, a HOPPER EMPTY message is displayed on the LCD screen.
1. Fill the ticket paper into the ticket supply tray by referring to Paragraph 3.4.
2. Turn the RESET keyswitch to clear the TICKET PRINTER PAPER LOW error
message.

CAUTION!
The coin diverter may be hot. Wait until it cools down before touching.
If the coin acceptor is blocked with a coin/token, a COIN IN JAM error message is
displayed on the monitor screen.
When your coin acceptor is a CONDOR coin acceptor, open the coin acceptor as
depicted right to remove the jamming coin/token.
NOTE:
If necessary, remove the coin acceptor in the following manner:
(1) Disconnect the cable connector from the coin acceptor.
(2) Push up then pull forward (unhook) the coin acceptor to remove it.
4. After clearing the coin jam, if the coin acceptor was removed, return the coin
acceptor onto the back of the main door, and connect the cable connector.
5. Close the main door.
6. Turn the RESET keyswitch to clear the error message.

When the coinless type of cabinet is used, skip this paragraph and go on to the next

When the game machine is idle (that is, no game is being played, or there is no tilt on
this machine), you can access the soft meter menu in the following procedure:
1. Turn the AUDIT keyswitch and then back to the upright position to call
the AUDIT mode on the screen.

2. If you want to mute an error sound including DOOR OPEN, select MUTE
(SOUND) on the upper left of the screen.
To undo the mute, select UNMUTE (SOUND).
3. Touch your desired item to select. You can also select items using the buttons on the
control panel.

This machine has PERMANENT and PERIOD soft meters. The PERMANENT
meters show the statistical accounting information since the last RAM clear.
The PERIOD meters show the same but temporary information since either the
last RAM CLEAR or PERIOD RESET whichever more recent. Refer to
Paragraph 11.1 for how to clear RAM.
CAUTION!
Once the meters are cleared, they cannot be retrieved. Please write down all
the meter readings before clearing the RAM.

Step 1:
Use the following button or the MAX BET button on the control panel to set the number
of credits bet per line.
BET +1:
Used to set BET PER LINE. Every time pressing this button the number of
credits bet per line is increased by 1.
As the result, the total number of credits bet changes accordingly.
Step 2:
Use the following buttons or the BET buttons on the control panel to index each reels to
form your desired symbol combination.
When the winning combination is formed, the combination is highlighted and the
credits won is displayed under the WON meter.

5. Turn the key to the neutral position, the following message is displayed;
Are you sure to clear the RAM?
YES : Turn the key to the AUDIT position and return to the neutral
position.
NO : Turn the key to the RESET position.
6. Turn the key to the AUDIT position and return to the neutral position.
The message changes to "RAM cleared." to indicate the completion of the
RAM clear.
To cancel the RAM Clear, turn the key to the RESET position.
The message changes to "RAM clear cancelled. Turn the key to the neutral
position.".
7. When a hopper- or coin-related error appears, call the SETTING menu to set
HOPPER TYPE to NONE.

1. Unlock the belly door to open it.

of the stacker.
4. Pull forward the bill stacker to take it out.
5. Unlock and open the bill door to collect the bills.
6. After collecting the bills, close the bill door and lock it.
7. Place the bill stacker onto the bill acceptor, then press it back until it snaps
locked.
8. Close and lock the bill acceptor door.

4. Locate the fuse holder for the fuse you want to replace.
5. Push the fuse holder, then turn it counterclockwise to remove it.
6. Pull out the fuse to replace it with a new one.
7. Return the fuse holder onto the power box.

If a specified fuse is easily blown, contact ARUZE or your nearest distributor.

2. Locate the lithium battery on the Body I/O PCB or NOKI I/O PCB.
3. Set the Dip switch to Battery OFF position.
NOTE:
When you wish to clear the security cage status, set the Dip switch (SW2 Bit2) to
Battery OFF position.
4. Pull out the old battery to replace it with the new one.
5. After the replacement, set the Dip switch back to Battery ON position.

11.7 Adjustment
11.7.1 Sensitivity of CONDOR Coin Acceptor
NOTE:
When the coinless type of cabinet is used, skip this paragraph and go on to the next
section.
CAUTION!
The coin diverter may be hot. Wait until it cools down before touching.
When your coin acceptor is a CONDOR coin acceptor, the sensitivity can be adjusted in
the following procedure:
(1) For the standard sensitivity, set the rotary switch to 0 position with a
small blade screwdriver.
(2) To increase the selectivity for your coinage, turn the rotary switch
counterclockwise.
(3) To increase the rejectivity against slugs, turn the rotary switch clockwise.
5. Return the coin acceptor onto the back of the main door.
6. Close the main door to check the selectivity/rejectivity by inserting proper coin
and/or high quality slugs.
7. Repeat the above steps 4 through 6 as necessary to get the finest adjustment.

8. Loosen the 4 screws (not remove) that are fixing the reel brace on the base.

7. Remove the existing Compact Flash and insert the delivered Memory All Clear
CF into the MASTER slot:
(1) Insert a new CF into the slot.
(2) Insert a new CF in the correct direction.
(3) Insert a new CF slowly so that the pins are not damaged.
8. Reassemble the GMEM cassette, and insert it into the security cage.
9. Turn ON the machine to erase the setting data in EEPROM.
10. After the message of EEPROM & BKRAM ERASED is display, turn OFF the
machine.
11. Pull out the GMEM cassette to replace the Memory ALL Clear CF with the
compact flash for the new game.
12. Reassemble the GMEM cassette again, and insert it into the security cage.
13. Turn ON the machine.
14. As instructed in the above Paragraph 11.1, RAM Clear, clear the RAM and
start up the machine.
NOTE:
Depending on game titles to be changed, updating (replacing) the system CF may be
necessary.
When updating the system CF is required, take the same procedure as when replacing
the game CF.
Once the system CF is replaced, turn ON the machine.
