Success Criteria How to Do Well:

Planning: Plan your presentation thoroughly. I will be looking for the

following aspects in your presentation and your digital document.

* Best examples would ensure that each of your body sections has its own
brief introduction and conclusion.

Choosing Aspects of Thai Culture: Choose aspects that will give you the
opportunity to go into greater depth. Quality will always win out over
quantity. Four Aspects that you understand and present thoroughly will
earn you more marks than one or two sentences each on all of the
Aspects.

Writing your introduction: Introduce yourself, perhaps introduce Thailand

where it is what it is known for, and in a few sentences give the
audience a brief idea of what you will be talking to them about.

Body Paragraphs: I will be looking for the depth of your knowledge about the
Aspects of Thai culture that youve chosen. Use information and activities
from our Geography lessons as your starting point and research anything
you are unsure about, or that you want to know more about. Your
presentation should contain plenty of detail on each Aspect, and
demonstrate your understandings of the links between Geographic
Elements and culture using your ability to identify and communicate
inference and links.

*Best examples would explain how the Geographic Elements have caused
or changed the Cultural Aspect, and if the Cultural Aspect has changed
the Geographic Element.

Dont forget to compare each Cultural Aspect with Australia, and explain
how the two countries are similar or different.
I will also be looking for how you use Geographic tools in your
presentation. Be careful that you talk about the pictures, chart, maps or
other tools that you include, dont just put them there for decoration.

Conclusion: A short paragraph, right at the end, finish your presentation off.
Use this paragraph to discuss the development of your perception of
Thailand.
