THE EFFECT OF HEALTH EDUCATION ABOUT HEALTHY SNACKS TO


KNOWLEDGE AND BEHAVIOR STUDENTS HEALTHY SNACKS
PRIMARY CLASS V AND VI IN SDN CIDOLOG IN THE WORKING AREA
HEALTH CENTER CIDOLOG-SUKABUMI

Research conducted Research and Development of the Ministry of Health of


the Republic of Indonesia in 2013 food hawker school children accounted for only
30% carbohydrates, 25% protein and 52% iron. The purpose of this research is to
know the effect of health education about healthy snacks for snack on knowledge
and behavior of elementary school students in grade V and VI.

Health education is a concept of education in the health field. Knowledge of


snacks is the result of know what happens after people perform a specific sensing of
objects. Behaviorof healthy snacks are actions that can be observed even studied.

The research used Quasy Experimental study with Pre test and Post test.
The population is all students of class V and VI with a sample of 72 people. The
research used total sampling. Validity used Pearson Product Moment valid all <
0.05 and reliability used Cronbach Alpha value knowledge variable r 0713, 0833 r
behavioral variables. Data processed by T Test.

The result of the study pre-test knowledge of students with a good


knowledge of 4,2%, 34.7% post-test, and pre-test the behavior of healthy snacks
Yes as much as 4,2%, 11.1% post-test. Results obtained knowledge P-value =
0.000 and p-value = 0.013 behavior, shows the influence of healthy snacks health
education on knowledge and behavior of healthy snacks.

This study proved that there are significant health education on the
knowledge and behavior of the student allowance. Expected result from this
research can be input for the health center to improve continue health promotion
for school children and can also work together with the school to enable the UKS
program.
