Religion: We are writing daily in our Lent journals.
We had our Stations of the Cross prayer service
with Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades. We are
reading about being a part of the Catholic Family.
Reminders
We talked about how to show others that we are

Language Arts: We talked about things that have
happened to us. We wrote sentences and drew
pictures about one special thing. We are learning
about writing a personal narrative.

Math: We completed the chapter about place

value. We modeled hundreds, tens, and ones
using base ten blocks. We also compared numbers
using the math vocabulary words greater than, less
than and equal to. We also identified 10 less and
10 more than a given number.

Science: We are learning about natural resources.

We read about rocks and minerals and different
types of soil as two types of natural resources. We
created a diagram showing the layers that are
under topsoil.

The children have been very generous donating $60 Extra Recess
pennies for Haiti. The children are now focused (3 days)
on creating cards for the children at St. Judes $70 Buddy Day
Research Hospital. The cards will be mailed in $80 No homework
