Tasks of the participant before, during and after:

I believe that the seminar is designed to offer an incomparable occasion to reflect about myself as Teacher
and Headteacher. This is perfect for teachers willing to build a long and satisfied carrier and for experienced
teachers willing to re-fresh their approach to teaching. Teaching is somehow a mission, and being a teacher
is a wonderful job that doesnt often finish when you leave the school building every day, so it can be difficult
to disconnect from.
During the course the tasks will be:
participate in group dynamic exercises and
share our experiences in an international environment, experiencing effective communication
techniques, mindfulness and
creative management tools
After the course teachers will learn how to set healthy boundaries to cope with overwork, how to regulate
emotions, how to use assertivity to respond properly to colleagues, students and families demands, and how
to maximize their strengths in order to minimize hurriedness and waste of time.

Competences to be acquired by the participant:

I will become self-aware of my role as a headteacher and what it means to be part of a bigger team.
Promote work-life balance, satisfaction and effectiveness in order to prevent stress in the workplace.
Set healthy boundaries to cope with being overworked,
Reflect and refresh my approach to coaching
Practice effective communication techniques and mindfulness, as well as experience creative
management tools.
Monitoring and Mentoring of the participant before, during and after the mobility:
Monitoring and Mentoring will be held from both the sending and host organization on an on-going basis
and take appropriate action if required
Before the seminar:
Agree on a tailor-made learning or teaching program for each participant
Define the individual learning outcomes of the participant in terms of competences.
Provide any necessary information and assistance to participants
Establish communication about the requirements and the learning process between the participants and the
teacher.
These communications must occur in a productive and purposeful manner and should be carried out in a
spirit of openness and cooperation and should allow for participants diversity.
During the seminar:
Assign to participants tasks and responsibilities to match their competences and training objectives as set
out in the Mobility Agreement and ensure that appropriate equipment and support is available.
Ensure that the participants will think about:
Their own learning and thinking processes and challenge them to articulate the way they have gone about
learning
What they need more help to understand

How they might achieve better understanding.

Identify a tutor or mentor to monitor the participant's learning progress and/or offer professional support.
Provide practical support if required including a clear contact point for participants.
After the seminar
Ensure the validation and recognition of the competences acquired.
Recognize learning outcomes which were not originally planned but still achieved during the mobility. Use
Europass for recognition of learning outcomes.
Ensure that the participants will think about:
What their next steps might be
how they are going to proceed with those next steps
How they are going to know they have achieved success
Whether or not the method of learning was effective

Evaluation and Recognition of the mobility:

For evaluation questionnaires can be used to collect information from a team of teachers from school
and the headteachers from the other schools of the same district. What can we use them for:
Providing baseline data against which the performance of the use of the tools can be compared.
Comparing different aging groups of teachers at a given point in time.
Comparing changes over time in the same group.
Describing conditions in a particular group.
