NARRATIVE

REPORT
Our Educational Tour was happened in February 13, 2014 and was conducted by our
Science Department. All year level participate the tour but the destinations are different by year
level.

The meeting place is in Nabua National High School. It was said that we must be in our
first destination in 8 oclock and we must leave in NNHS 7 oclock. But what happen is we leave
in NNHS almost past 8 oclock. Our bus number is 2.

Our First Stop is in Hoyop - Hoyopan Cave in Barangay Cotmon, Camalig Albay. When
we are going there we are very noisy, especially when we pass through the zigzag road. It was
almost 1 hour and a half. When we arrived, some take pictures, some ate there snacks. We go
immediately to the entrance of the cave, but we have our own section, the first section will enter
first and so on. Our tour guide said that there are three (3) sections in the cave. We see rock
formation, stalagmites, stalactites and columns. It was said by our tour guide that cave was
underwater. We eat our snacks there, we take pictures and we buy souvenirs. Then we go to our
next stop.

Our Second Stop is in Bicol University College of Science. We arrived there almost 11:45
a.m. We are 15 student per group and every group have a College Student that will discuss about
every apparatus we will encounter, there are many student there doing there thesis. When we are
finish we take pictures. When we are waiting for the next stop, one of my classmates fainted.
They take my classmate to the Chemistry Department. Because of that incident we eat our lunch.
It was almost past 1:00 p.m. when we eat our lunch. After we eat our lunch, we go to our next
stop.

Our Third Stop is Fiber Industry Development Authority (FIDA). FIDA was in the
compound of Bicol University. The Administrator explains how an Abaca Plant reproduces, the
part of it, and we now know that it must not be called Fiber Industry Development Authority
(FIDA) and must be Philippine Fiber Industry Development Authority (PhilFIDA). Then after
PhilFIDA we go to our next stop.

Our Fourth Stop is in Department Of Science and Technology (DOST). We are only 100
student enter the DOST Building. The Chemist there discusses about what equipment they used,
what is the mission, vision and objective of DOST. After we that, we go to our last stop.

Our Last Stop is in Albay Breeding Station but we go there for the Biogas Plant. They
have a little discussion about how pig manure turns to a use full electricity and gas. It discusses
too about their Dairy Products come from the milk of their cows. And after the discussion we
buy Fresh Milk there. And after the long trip we go home.

For me that Educational Tour was very happy and I learn a lot. As we go to the Cave until
to the Biogas Plant I learn a lot. Even there was an accident happen.

Must repeat next school year.
