Executive summary

Rio Bluefields is a new entity on block. This visitor attraction is one in a lifetime experience,

After a dip in the Waters beyond the blue, my neighboring entity Bluefields beach, come over

and take a dip in the crystal waters; which entails, A walking tour of the attraction, Mineral

bath, and other water attraction for relaxation and fun, entertainment packages, outdoor

massage services, and also food/beverage on the property.

Guidelines have been made in controlling this entity meaning, the operation under which this

product is involved. Rio Bluefields business plan has information on the target, and future

endeavors for the business. The market analysis has ways in which the business creates new

pull factors for the industry. Attachments such as brochure which contains information about

the entity (the offerings), and also a license/permit as to the entertainment package (music)

Description of the product

Rio Bluefields is an attraction operating under the Bluefields beach park. We are located in the

parish of Westmoreland; Bluefields district; Bluefields P.O., adjacent to the Bluefields beach

park ; we can be contacted by 955-4001, for information via attraction. We run the only river

attraction in the Bluefields district that exclusively offers private as well as public service to

people of everytype.

This product is an attraction open to persons who use the Bluefields beach parkand wants to

relax in a smaller stream of water to extract the salt from their body. This entity will also entail

a walking tour of the stream, a shower area, a mineral bath, a free for all spot where persons

can come and swim. Jacuzzi type & bubbling spring and also massage service. Entertainment

package for booked guests. A 12 hour caf and small private luncheon area with paid restroom

facilities.

Our mission is to establish and execute a tourist attraction, which enriches the quality of the

environment and to create an atmosphere that promotes relaxation and excitement.

LEGAL STRUCTURE

This service\product will be a partnership entity. A partnership entity is a contract between two

or more persons who agree to pool money, talent and share profits or losses. The service that

will be produced will need a water resort license. The service will also have laws to regulate

the daily operation of the entity. Some laws that must be implemented in the entity are as

follows ; safety signs must be placed on the most convenient areas, a life guard is also required

and safety equipment. Those rules must be enforced.

Market research
One to one interviews will be done, in order to hear customers ideas, needs and wants.

Questions were as follows,how do you like this new entity? How convenient is this place to

you, and what are some ideas in which or what improvements would you like to see being

revealed?.

Target Market
Our target market is within Jamaica, in the parish of Westmoreland, Bluefields District. We

cater for persons coming on an excursion, tourists, people of the community and wider parish.

We cater to any group of people because we have the resources to accommodate them, for

example: teenagers love music & entertainment, and so this package in particular will catch

their attention, the elderly, we have the mineral bath, and a free for all area where persons of

any type are free to go in, relax and have fun.

we cater for ages 0-3 years under parental supervision, teenagers, adults. We can only cater for

fifty (50) people at a time. 10 to 15 persons per excursion. First booking gets first preference.

Competition
Rio bluefields is a partnership entity; a resort for families; located in bluefields Westmoreland

J.A., it is a new start off compared to the neighbouring entities such as Bluefields resort and

Luna Sea Inn, in Belmont Westmoreland. There is a competition because they have guest

rooms, Italian Restaurant and bar with entertainment package also. Bluefields resort

exclusively offer Hotel guest room services 24 hour, Shuttle bus tour and on site activities for

guest relaxation and enjoyment.

Rio Bluefields is the only fresh water entity in the area. This entity will gradually build

because of its most unique idea in the area.

Operating schedule
The occurrence of fire: In Rio Bluefields, based on the restaurant that will be invested into

the facility, fires can started if there is a gas leak or an improper use of technical

equipment in the kitchen area.

Slip and Fall: In the resort spillage of juices can happen and cause person to slip and fall.

Strategies for reducing each risk

A fire extinguisher will be installed in a safe area in kitchen along with safety signs in

using this extinguisher and Caution signs in monitoring equipment in the kitchen area.

Slippage cannot be prevented but in occurrence of such act, a first aid area will be put in

place in order to attend to such injuries, safety signs will also be put In place, and also

non-skid mats and tiles will be in particular areas.

Design Justification of the product

The design shows a Caf & Private Luncheon Area with paid restroom facilities. This
aspect of the design attracts individuals to book any event at the Bluefields attraction,
group, family or business the luncheon area can hold up to approximately 150 persons.
Within the same region is a shower area and changing room where persons are able to
change off and enjoy the Swimming Pool and Mineral Bath which is in close proximity
from the shower area. Located on site also are Gazebos which also provide extra seating
and shelter within the attraction and occupied by the visitors. The Massage and Jacuzzi
Area are located in the same across from the Tour facility in which persons who visit the
attraction register and then proceed to a tour of the facility and enjoy the attractions
available.
