Spring 2019

I will get straight to the point.

Last year, the One Man Show finances took a beating to the tune of a $15,000 net loss from 2015.
My regulars are still giving on a monthly basis, but a big part of the challenge is that my revival
meetings have fallen off over the last several years. In the first half of my ministry (been going for
over 18 years now!), I annually booked 10-12 revivals. Love offerings were received every night,
which kept the budget strong. That number has dropped down to only one or two meetings a year
now.

I am still getting booked. In fact, my spring calendar is chock-full, which is a good sign. I believe I
have entered the most creative stage of this ministry since its beginning. Doors are opening for my
devotional writing. Last year, the Sunday School Zone invited me to regularly blog on their website.
Cook Communications accepted one of my freelance submissions for their Standard Publishing
periodical this fall, and Im finishing up some curriculum for the Union Gospel Press, slated to be
published in 2019. In addition, I am adapting Simeons Dream, my costumed Christmas monologue,
to be part of a cantata.

However, with all this good news, one of two things still need to happen both would be even better.
I need to receive more multi-day invitations to preach revival events and/or my base of giving needs
to increase.

Would you consider a monthly offering to One Man Show Ministries? Many of my donors cant give
huge amounts, but many drops fill a bucket. Just to let you know, One Man Show is what I call a
shoestring ministry. I dont have a fancy office, just a corner in my house where I do my
administrative work. My vehicle is a donated 2000 Ford Explorer with over 160,000 miles on it. I
dont invest in fancy equipment or expensive costuming. This is a lean and mean ministry with one
passionate goal to be a creative force for God, bringing the life-changing, heart-altering Gospel of
Jesus Christ the power of God unto salvation (Rom. 1:16) through drama, storytelling, object
lessons and narrative preaching.

As a reminder, One Man Show is completely reliant on love offerings and donations to keep it going.
No congregation pays my salary. No church agency girds my budget. Its all on Gods people to make
sure this ministry fulfills its calling and mission. Thank you in advance for any help you can give me.
A self-addressed envelope is included and all donations are tax-deductible.

Blessings,

Rev. Mark Winter
