The role of the management is to provide policies and procedures that will improve
the environment of the workplace. As such, management has provided a Code of
Conduct which all employees must abide by. The guidelines for the Code of Conduct
are as follows:
Any employee who, failed to immediately report any loss to authority after the
incident occurred, shall be penalized as follows:
Any employee who, failed to perform his duties accordingly which results to loss,
damage or destruction to company property, shall be penalized as follows:
1st Offense: Automatic payroll deduction of Amount involved and 5 days suspension
without pay
2nd Offense: Termination
Malingering
Any employee who, for purpose of avoiding work, duty or service, feigns illness,
physical disability or mental sickness, shall be penalized as follows:
Any employee who, without any justifiable reason, is caught sleeping during his
working hours shall be penalized as follows:
1st Offense: Written Reprimand
2nd Offense: Suspension for five (5) days
3rd Offense: Dismissal
Abandonment of post
An employee who abandons his/her post during working hours without authority or
valid cause or reason shall be penalized with the penalty of:
Loitering
An employee who idles away his time during working hours or uses company time for
personal matters shall be penalized in accordance with the following penalties:
Violent acts
Commission of a crime
Intoxication
An employee who becomes intoxicated while on duty shall incur the penalty of at
least fifteen (15) days suspension or dismissal, depending upon the gravity of the
offense and/or circumstances surrounding its commission.
Any employee who commits fraud against the company (e.g. unauthorized spending
of company funds; substitution of company materials/equipments with another of
inferior quality); or who makes a false or fraudulent claim against the company or to
obtain a payment, benefit or gain from the company to which he is not entitled, shall
suffer the penalty of dismissal.
Theft or pilferage
Any employee who removes or takes, or attempts to remove or take from company
premises, without authority to do so, any funds, equipment, tools, materials, supplies,
accountable forms or other properties of the company, or a co-employees property
regardless of the condition or value of such property, shall be punished by dismissal.
Any employee who uses or withholds company resources/funds for own benefit or
personal gain shall be punished by dismissal on first offense.
Any employee who for personal gain, or for the benefit of another, shall falsify,
conceal, falsify or fabricate company documents to the prejudice of the company,
shall be sanctioned with dismissal.
