BENEFITS AND PRIVILEGES

Leave Incentives

Leave incentives are granted to all regular employees who have rendered at
least one (1) year of service to the company
It is one of the companys ways of expressing its gratitude to the employees
for rendering faithful and efficient service
The company reserves the option to cancel leave privileges of an employee
for any abuse or dishonest usage of the said benefit

1. Vacation Leave

The company grants a total of fifteen days annual vacation leave with pay
For employees who have rendered service for at least 2 years, the vacation
leave shall be increased by one (1) day for every succeeding year of service
but not to exceed twenty days
The vacation leave is not cumulative and cannot be converted to cash

2. Sick Leave

All regular employees are entitled to a sick leave with pay of fifteen days per
year provided that they have completed one (1) year of service
The sick leave is not cumulative and cannot be converted into cash
When an employee is sick and unable to work, he/she must inform his/her
superior by the telephone, letter, or through personal representative
If the absence due to sickness lasted for more than two (2) days, a medical
certificate must be attached to the leave form in order to be chargeable to the
employees sick leave credit

3. Paternity Leave

In accordance with Republic Act No. 8187, the company grants a paternity
leave of seven days with full pay to all male and married employees for the
first four (4) deliveries of the legitimate spouse
Leave will be granted to the qualified employee before or during the delivery
of his legitimate spouse, provided that the total number of days shall not
exceed seven days for each delivery
Extended leave of absences may be availed if the employee has unused
leave credits from which such extended leave may be charged
The company requires all male employees whose spouse is pregnant to fill up
a Leave Form for Paternity Notification duly signed by his superior and shall
submit the same to the General Manager / Sales & Marketing Director

4. Emergency Leave

Emergency leave refers to an absence that is urgent in nature such that a


pre- arranged leave cannot be obtained
Only employees who have rendered continuous service for a period of two (2)
years are entitled to avail of the paid emergency leave benefit
The following are considered valid grounds for emergency leave:
- Force Majeure (typhoon, fire, mass transportation strike, violent rallies, coup
detat)
- Death in the family (death of spouse or child, for married employees and
death of
parent/s, brother/s, sister/s or illegitimate child/ren, for unmarried
employees)
- Miscarriage of a pregnant female employee, or of a pregnant wife of a male
employee
- Child delivery of wife
- Sudden illness of an immediate member of employees family where no one
can attend
except employee himself

13th Month Pay

All employees are entitled to the 13th month pay in equivalent of one (1) month
salary at the end of the calendar period.

The Social Security System (SSS) protects its members from the hazards of
disability, old age and death.

Retirement Benefits

Pursuant to the provisions of the Labor Code, as amended, all employees


shall be entitled to retirement benefits equivalent to at least one half (1/2)
month salary for every year of service
A fraction of at least six (6) months being considered as one whole year
Five (5) days incentive leave and 1/12 of the 13th month pay as provided by
the law
The minimum length of service for entitlement of retirement pay is at least five
(5) years
An employee upon reaching the age of sixty (60) or more but not beyond
sixty-five (65) may retire voluntarily

Company Loan

Company loans may be granted, at the sole discretion of management and


subject to the approval of the President and General Manager, to an
employee for any of the following reasons:
Payment of urgent medical expenses of employee or a member of the
immediate family member
Burial expenses of a member of the immediate family of the
employee; and other similar expenses
Only regular employees are entitled to apply for a loan
The maximum loanable amount is an amount equivalent to the employees
one (1) month salary
Availment of loans shall be subject to the policies and guidelines that
management may issue from time to time
