Overview

Manual well planning is essentially the manipulation of right-angle

triangles to compare differences in Displacement & TVD to place
each point in the wellbore.

The Tips are designed to help you determine which points you need
to connect to build the correct triangles to find the solution to the
problem.

Summary
There are 4 Tips to Manual Well Planning:
For J wells
A line from the target to the Center of Radius
For S & Double Build Wells
A line joining the two centers of radius
A projection of one radius of curvature onto the other (+/-)
For all well profiles
Triangulate back to the nearest Center of Radius by comparing
relative displacement & TVD
