Walleye Fish Dinner Planned

At St. Teresa Catholic Church
St. Teresa Catholic Church in
Covington will host their fa-
mous Walleye Fish Dinner on
Friday, April 7, with serving from
4-7 p.m.
Your meal will include green
beans, applesauce, roll and but-
ter, as well as coffee. The cost is
$7 per meal. Dine-in or carry-out.
Homemade desserts and soft
drinks can be purchased at additional cost.
Proceeds from this event will benefit parish activities.

Big Read Events Coming Up

At Bradford Public Library
Bradford Public Library is one of 16 libraries and bookstores in
the Dayton area that will be celebrating the award-winning book The
Wright Brothers by David McCullough. !!! # "
The library will hold book discussions on Tuesdays, March 28 and
April 4, at 10:30 a.m. Sign-ups are encouraged since you will probably
need the book to participate. For more information, contact the library

Also, on Saturday, April 8, students ages 10 thru 18 will be creat-
ing their very own Wright Flyer with Legos and a variety of other
materials all provided for you. The time will be 10 a.m. 1 p.m.
These creations will be displayed throughout the month of April.

Wednesday, April 12. Participants will be visiting Hawthorne Hill,

Covington Kindergarten Registration Announced
Covington Elementary will hold its annual kindergarten registra-
tion and screening April 5 and 6, from 8-11 a.m. and 12:30-3:30 p.m.
Any child who will be five years of age before August 1, 2017, is eli-
gible to attend kindergarten.
All parents of kindergarten age children are asked to call the ele-
mentary office at 937-473-2252 for a registration/screening appoint-
ment.
To register your child(ren), it is necessary for parents to bring
their childs certified birth certificate, record of immunizations,
proof of residency, and custodial papers (if applicable).

Covington retailers will hold their 1st Annual Spring Artisan
Show on Saturday, May 13, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. They are looking
for crafters and artists to participate in this event. The set-up fee is
just $25.
This event will be held on High St. in downtown Covington, and
will include artists, crafters, and other business vendors, as well as
food vendors and a car cruise-in.

GIVE Medical Ministry will host a Health Fair Saturday, April

Butterfly Hike Offered at Area Preserve
The Miami County Park District will hold a Butterfly Hike
Monday, April 3, 1-3 p.m., at Stillwater Prairie Reserve, 9750 St. Rt.

Participants will join a park district naturalist out on the trail to
learn about butterfly species and the different types of flowering
plants. They will also help collect data for the Ohio Lepidopteras
Butterfly Monitoring Program.
