B. Describe the differences between animals; and
C. Identify small animals hands on by their physical characteristics.

Bring a few small animals into the classroom such as a hamster, rabbit, and dog.
- Point out to the class how different they each are
- Have the student make a table with similar and different characteristics of each
animal

students observe and write down the physical
characteristics of each animal.
- I will also have pictures of animals I cannot bring into
class.
Evaluation:

Objectives will be reviewed before examinations. Exams will be developed based on objectives as
taught in class.
