Personal Profile

I have had the opportunity to do some work experience in IT and was very
beneficial for me as this was my first time working in this type of
environment. Whilst doing this job experience I identified different people
with different skills and roles they had. I am a sophisticated individual who
loves to get involved in teamwork and communication activities. I can
demonstrate administrative and organisational skills as I can relate to
running of an organization. I have good IT skills and can use Microsoft
without any issues. However I would like to further my knowledge in IT
and start studying areas in games design. I have knowledge of the game
industry and the available job roles, such as Animators, Creative Directors,
Games artists, and Level Editors. My IT skills help me to understand topics
such as online communication and advertising. I have made a functional
website in the past for my coursework which advertised clothing and
accessories.

Work Experience

I have had previous work experience in the games industry and online
banking. I was to design a concept of a game using their designing
software to create virtual characters that I would then continue to animate
the movements of the characters and make them as realistic as possible. I
also created a concept map to gain some inspiration on what the final
design would look like. However, the day had finished and the work
experience was over. I really enjoyed it as I was able to use new
technology and gained some skills along the way such as creative and
organisational skills which I could take with me. I would love to return to
this workplace to resume my game design. My work experience regarding
online banking consisted of learning how to make transactions
electronically over the internet.

Skills

I can currently speak 2 languages which are English and Spanish. I have IT
skills such as creating presentations and demonstrating graphs. I have
leadership skills that can help me in my selected job role to coordinate
with other people working in the industry and can modify game settings to
my preference. I see myself as a leader and will demonstrate leadership
skills by motivating others and listening to ideas. I work well in a team
environment and will listen to other peoples opinions. I self-reflect to
highlight the positives and negatives and think of ways to improve my
actions and behaviours in the future.

Interest and Activities

I play video games to enhance my communication skills as I meet new

people in game. I do other activities such as football which enhance my
teamwork and leadership skills. I take part in youth clubs to maintain
social activities and to create new friends. I take part interventions after
school to catch up on coursework and also for extra revision in subjects
such as maths, science, Business Studies, IT, and English. I am very
interested in astronomy as I am fascinated about how the universe works
and the stars and planets that are held within it. I am also interested in
law and have researched the job role of a barrister and the skills and
responsibilities a barrister must have to be successful.
