Mr. JEFFRIES (for himself and Mr. TED LIEU of California) submitted the
following resolution; which was referred to the Committee on the Judiciary

RESOLUTION
Of inquiry requesting the President and directing the Attor-
ney General to transmit, respectively, certain documents
to the House of Representatives relating to communica-
tions with the government of Russia.

1 Resolved, That the President is requested, and the At-


2 torney General of the United States is directed, to trans-
3 mit, respectively (in a manner appropriate to classified in-
4 formation, if the President or Attorney General deter-
5 mines appropriate), to the House of Representatives, not
6 later than 14 days after the date of the adoption of this
7 resolution, copies of any document, record, memo, cor-

8 respondence, or other communication in their possession,

1 or any portion of any such communication, that refers or
2 relates to the following:
3 (1) Any meeting or communication that oc-
4 curred between Jefferson Beauregard Sessions III
5 and any representative of the Russian government,
6 including his meetings with the Russian Ambassador
7 to the United States, Sergey I. Kislyak, on July 18,
8 2016, and September 8, 2016.
9 (2) The Attorney Generals testimony before
10 the Senate Committee on the Judiciary on January
11 10, 2017, including but not limited to his statement
12 that he did not have communications with the Rus-
13 sians.
14 (3) The Attorney Generals written response to
15 Senator Patrick Leahys letter of January 17, 2017.
16 (4) The Attorney Generals letter of March 6,
17 2017, to the Senate Committee on the Judiciary.
18 (5) The Attorney Generals preparation for con-
19 firmation hearings before the Senate Committee on
20 the Judiciary, with respect to the subject of contact
21 between President Trumps campaign and any rep-
22 resentative of the Russian government.
23 (6) The Attorney Generals recusal from any in-
24 vestigation related to the 2016 Presidential election,

3 (7) The application of part 600 of title 28,
4 Code of Federal Regulations, to any case involving
5 the 2016 Presidential election or any related matter.
6 (8) Any meeting that occurred between any em-
7 ployee of President Trumps campaign or transition
8 team and any representative of the Russian govern-
9 ment, including any meeting that involved Donald J.
10 Trump, Michael Flynn, Jared Kushner, Carter
11 Page, J.D. Gordon, Richard Burt, Paul Manafort,
12 Roger Stone, or Michael Cohen.
