REGULATION ORDINANCE NO. 2012-001

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING REGULATION ORDINANCE NO. 2001-
072, DATED MAY 2, 2001 OR THE COMPREHENSIVE LAND USE PLAN
AND ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ILOILO, BY
RECLASSIFYING LOT NO. 3816-A, WITH AN AREA OF 2.2539
HECTARES SITUATED AT BRGY. CAMALIG, JARO, ILOILO CITY
AND LOT NO. 3867 WITH AN AREA OF 3.3846 HECTARES SITUATED
AT BRGY. LANIT, JARO, ILOILO CITY, FROM "AGRICULTURAL"
TO "RESIDENTIAL III" OR "SOCIALIZED HOUSING AREA"

HEREAS, the Iloilo City Government is presently implementing the Iloilo River
ment Project which includes among others, the relocation of informal settlers in the
"ver and all other creeks;

WHEREAS, the present relocation sites and Socialized Housing Projects of the City is
fully occupied and the only available lot of the City Government is the newly acquired and
underdeveloped lots at Barangays Camalig and Lanit, Jaro, Iloilo City;

WHEREAS, said adjacent parcels of land needs conversion from the Department of
Agrarian Reform and it is a necessary requirement that said lots has to be reclassified by the City
of Iloilo from Agricultural to Residential III or Socialized Housing Area.

NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of the City of

Iloilo, that:

Section 1. - Regulation Ordinance No. 2001-072, dated May 2, 2001 or the

Comprehensive Land Use Plan and Zoning Ordinance of the City of Iloilo, is hereby amended by
reclassifying Lot No. 3816-A, TCT No. T-167283, with an area of 2.2539 hectares situated at
Brgy. Camalig, Jaro, Iloilo City and Lot No. 3867, TCT No. T-167282, with an area of 3.3846
situated at Brgy. Lanit, Jaro, Iloilo City, from "Agricultural" to "Residential III" or "Socialized
Housing Area".

Section 2. - This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon approval.
