SUMMATIVE ASSESSMENT
You are interning for the summer at the Muse du Louvre and the museum is hosting an open house for children.
The childrens outreach coordinator at the museum has given you the task of preparing an information pamphlet
that will be handed out to kids when they arrive at the open house. You are also going to be giving the children a
tour of one of the exhibition halls. Before you are ready to do so, however, your supervisor has suggested that you
familiarize yourself with your assigned exhibition hall by consulting with a curator at the museum. You will need to
find out from them as much as you can about the specific paintings in the exhibition hall, the artistic movement
they all come from, and how each painting fits into it. Once you have done this, you will prepare what you will say
during your tour and create the pamphlet to go along with it.
