REGULATION ORDINANCE NO. 2012-456

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 OF REGULATION
ORDINANCE NO. 2006-140, AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE
TRICYCLE ROUTE OF BRGY. BITO-ON TRICYCLE OPERATORS
AND DRIVERS ASSOCIATION (BTODA) FROM ITS POINT OF ORIGIN
TO ITS POINT OF DESTINATION

Councilors Rodel F. Agado and Lyndon V. Acap

WHEREAS, the City Council of Iloilo passed Regulation Ordinance No. 2006-140 on
August 23, 2006 which approved the tricycle route of Brgy. Bito-on Tricycle Operators and
Drivers Association (BTODA);

WHEREAS, under Section 1 of the said Regulation Ordinance, the tricycle route for the

said association shall be from its point of origin at Brgy. Bito-on Proper to Tagbak Metropolis; it
shall pass Bito-on Club House, turn right to Metropolis, then make a U-turn towards Philippine

Science High School and make another U-turn towards Brgy. Bito-on and vice versa, except in
roads considered as national highway;

WHEREAS, the said route vaguely describes the actual route and in order that there will
be no confusion as to their route of operation there is a need to amend the description of their
route as stated in Section 1 of Regulation Ordinance No. 2006-140.

NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of the City of

Iloilo, that:

Section 1. - Section 1 ofRegulation Ordinance No. 2006-140, shall read, as follows:

"FROM BITO-ON. DISTRICT OF JARO PASSING THE WHOLE

STRETCH OF METROPOUS AVENUE/BOULEVARD UP TO THE
ENTRANCE OF METROPOLIS SUBDWJSION. TAGBAK, JARO. ILOILO
CITY AND VICE VERSA EXCEPT IHN ROADS CLASSIFIED AS
NATIONAL HIGHWAYS"

Section 2. - This ordinance amends Regulation Ordinance No. 2006-140 and repeals any
and all ordinances inconsistent with the provisions herewith.

Section 3. - This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon approval.
