T: What did you do when you heard the news, how did you respond?

T: what kind of news do you think they have?
T: we will call him Mr bad news, and she is Mrs good news.
T: Mr bad news is an investigator for an international children organization. And Mrs Drilling

good news is working as a child care assistant. They both have news to tell the Qs-As
secretary of the organisation:
Mr bad news: a child died because of cold
Mrs good news: I saved a child from hunger
T: can you tell me how each one of them is going to tell the news?
T writes the answers on the blackboard.
T: now imagine you are the secretary. How would you respond to each news?

Group A had 20 in English class.
Group A won the prize of the best school magazine.
T asks each group to give bad/ good news to a pair of matters, while the other group
should respond to it.
T asks ss to work in pairs and write examples of telling and responding to news.
