FOUR KEYBOARD LAYOUTS

1. AZERTY

AZERTY, used in French-speaking countries across Europe and Africa. As its name suggests, it
switches Q for A and W for Z in the top line. On the right hand side of the second line of letters,
the semicolon key is swapped for the M key

2. QWERTZ

QWERTY is a keyboard layout for Latin script. The name comes from the order of the first
six keys on the top left letter row of the keyboard (QWERTY).QWERTZ is used in central
Europe (Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, and other nearby countries or nations),
QWERTZ is not only a one single layout: country-by-country variations exist in it.
3. Japanese keyboard layout:

The JIS mechanical layout is the basis for Japanese keyboards. Here it is the right-hand shift key
that is smaller. Furthermore, the space bar and backspace key are also smaller, to make room for
four additional keys.

Japanese input methods are the methods used to input Japanese characters on a computer.

There are two main methods of inputting Japanese on computers. One is via a romanized version
of Japanese called rmaji (literally "Roman letters"), and the other is via keyboard keys
corresponding to the Japanese kana.
4. Chinese keyboards

Chinese Keyboard layout of Cangjie

The Cangjie input method (Tsang-chieh input method, sometimes also Changjie, Cang
Jie or ChongKit) is a system by which Chinese characters may be entered into a computer using
a standard keyboard. It is based on a relatively simple geometric decomposition of characters,
where each key on the keyboard (which can be a perfectly ordinary western computer keyboard)
represents a certain shape. All you need to know is the shape of the character, and the rules of
Cangjie decomposition.

You use a specific software called input method editior which allows conventional-looking
keyboard to produce the thousands of character used in chinese.

There's no standard system, though, so two Chinese keyboards may not look exactly the same
and they may not function in the same way.

In China, most computer, using the standard Roman alphabet keys on a QWERTY keyboard. To
generate a character, you type out its sound according to the same spelling system called Pinyin
that represents the name of China's capital with the word "Beijing." The computer automatically
converts the Pinyin spelling to the correct Chinese characters on the screen.
5. JCUKEN

Russian keyboard layout example, uses the Cyrillic alphabet which is totally different from
Latin-based English alphabet

Worst Chinese keyboard layout (Cangjie):

Because it required some learning to use cangjie layout

some reasons why you would not want to use Cangjie. First of all, it
requires some learning. If you already know e.g. Mandarin or
Japanese and want to get typing right away, you should use a
phonetic input method. Second, if you forget how to write a
character you can't type it, even if you know the pronunciation.
