Dr. Croft was born
in Lovell, Wyoming, and
delivered by his own
grandfather, the town
doctor. The medical
profession runs deep in
the family, beginning with
his great-grandfather who
first moved to Wyomings
Bighorn Basin to help treat
a yellow fever outbreak.
Dr. Crofts grandfather
then followed his own
fathers medical footsteps
and became the next
country doctor in the area.
Dr. Crofts father became a
dentist.
Dr. Croft grew up
in Arizona and attended Dr. Croft arrived at Frances Mahon Deaconess Hospital, rolled up his sleeves and went
college at Brigham Young straight to work. Take it from the Buzz, everyone is going to love his sense of humor!

Academic Olympics on Wednesday were (left to right
as their scholarly faces appear) Rachel Sigmundstad,
Ben Miller, Brooke Westby, Jesi Kennedy, Chloe
Moore, Luke Breigenzer, Ike Braaten, Benji Phillips, DJ
Rasmusan and Tanner Overby.

Luke was the top senior student on the written tests.
He finishes his high school Academic Olympics career
having earned top frosh, top soph, top junior, and now
top senior.
The team of Chloe Moore, Ben Miller, DJ Rasmusan,
Tanner Overby, and Luke Breigenzer brought home the
top team trophy in the Oral rounds. This is the third
year in a row that Tanner and Luke have been on a
winning oral rounds team.

FWP Seeking Comments on Draft

Management Plan for Fresno WMA
Montana Fish, Wildlife, and Parks is seeking public
comment on a draft management plan for the Fresno
Reservoir Wildlife Management Area (WMA). The
comment period will run from March 29, 2017 through

County just upstream of Fresno Reservoir. The WMA
is on Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) property, but is
managed by FWP under a joint management agreement
between FWP and BOR.
The management plan identifies the objectives for
wildlife habitat, weed management, infrastructure, and
public recreation. The plan also identifies proposed
management actions that will be implemented to help
achieve these objectives.
The draft management plan will be available on the
FWP website at fwp.mt.gov/news/publicNotices/ A
copy of the plan may also be obtained by contacting the

Ever been to Good Grief?

Good Grief is an unincorporated community in
Boundary County, Idaho. It was saluted in the early
1970s on the television show Hee Haw as having a
population of three with two dogs and one old grouch

Dr. Croft and his wife, Lisa, then
moved to California where he began
his training in Orthopedic Surgery at
the combined Presidio Army Base/U.C.
San Francisco residency program. He
completed his training in Sacramento at
U.C. Davis Medical Center.
With his medical training
completed, Dr. Croft served his country
as an Orthopedic Surgeon in Heidelberg,
Germany for nearly three years. He then
returned to his home town of Scottsdale,
Arizona to begin private practice. He
practiced general orthopedics and Level
I trauma there for 15 years. He was
recruited back to Wyoming (much like
his great-grandfather) and has practiced
there for the last seven years.

Clothing Swap in the making

Local resident Lacie Brown had a vision to raise
funds for domestic violence services in Valley County
and, with the assistance of her friends, Cassie Altman,
Kimberly Redstone, Jenny McCabe and Susan Murr,
that vision is becoming a reality.
In efforts to raise money for domestic violence
services they are hosting a HUGE CLOTHING SWAP
at Milk River Inc in Glasgow on Saturday, April 29th.
