SHOUT-OUT FOR HELP!

The 2017 BCA House Tour Committee has started


planning the October 2017 Biennial House Tour. Remember our fantastic
Bloomingdale Social & Architectural History Timeline in the 2015 House
Tour Program Book?? Well this year, the Tour Book will include:

A HISTORY OF ARTS & LETTERS IN BLOOMINGDALE.


Art Historian Sarah Jorgensen has agreed to head up this effort but we
NEED YOUR HELP TOO!
Provide names & contact info and other info on artists, musicians, and writers who
live(d) or work(ed) in Bloomingdale
Provide information/stories regarding the Barnett-Aden Gallery (formally located at
127 Randolph Pl. NW) -- especially its events where "women often dressed in
gowns" and Eleanor Roosevelt was in attendance
Provide info on other galleries that do or have been located in Bloomingdale (e.g.,
NOA Gallery)
Provide photos and other memorabilia related to Bloomingdale artists, musicians,
writers and other folks in the arts
Provide info on bands/orchestras, actors, poets, writers groups, and others who
are/were part of Bloomingdales arts scene, etc.
JOIN the House Tour Committee on the History of Arts & Letters in Bloomingdale
