Dorm Chaplain & DNOW news

Elizabeth was so excited this month. She got

the good news that she got the dorm chaplain job in
the Sharp-Davis dorm at Lee for next year! She
also found a wonderful suite mate. She really
enjoyed discipling the GLBC girls at DNOW. She
loved each girl she got to pour into that weekend.
She really felt loved when her floor leaders
"kidnapped" her and took her to Krispy Kreme for
Dorm Chaplain Appreciation Week. Best "hijacking"
EVER!

Jacob's Easter Break

Jacob is enjoying a 3 week Easter break after
receiving good marks first term. He gets to do house
visits with us on Thursdays and is leading the story
time this week. He loves that the youth intern, Rejan
goes with him on the visits so he has another guy to
hang out with in Shiyas. He also loves going to the
beach for a few days with his friend Evan. His last
week of the break will be spent at rugby camp
working on his rugby stiff arm skills.
The Blessings of Reading Glasses

With the money from the mission cafe

we have been able to buy kids bibles,
medication for the Shiyas patients,
school readers for tutoring kids behind
in school, and reading glasses.
Thembikela loved her new glasses. She
can finally read the Bible for the first
time in years now that she can see the
words. God is good all the time!
