CHAPTER III
SUMMARY, CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
Re-Statement of the Problem
This feasibility seeks to determine the feasibility of
establishing a Single-Deck Broiler Poultry Farm at Barangay
Siapo, San Jose, Negros Oriental. Specifically the study
seeks to answer the following questions:
1. Is the proposed establishment of a Single-Deck Broiler
Poultry Farm at Barangay Siapo, San Jose, Negros Oriental
feasible from the management point of view?
feasible from the marketing point of view?
feasible from the technical point of view?
feasible from the financial point of view?
feasible from the socio-economic point of view?

SUMMARY OF FINDINGS
MANAGEMENT ASPECT
The researchers used the line type organizational
structure to clearly state the chain of command. The
researchers have also defined the duties and
responsibilities of each and every employee, considering
their job description, with the owner as the main decision
maker. Policies and regulations were also made to keep a
harmonious working environment among the employees.
Therefore, the proposed establishment of Calijo Tales
Broiler Poultry Farm at Barangay Siapo, San Jose, Negros
Oriental is feasible as to the Management Aspects point of
view.
Marketing Feasibility
The marketing aspect plays a very important role in
putting up a business, in a way that it determines whether
there is really a demand on the product. In the proposed
study, there is clearly a demand considering that this is on
a contractual basis from San Miguel Foods, Inc - Magnolia.
With regards to the by-product which is the chicken dung,
there is also a high demand gap that is obtained from the
analysis that has been made by the researchers. Therefore,

the researchers conclude that Calijo Tales Broiler Poultry
Farm is feasible to the Marketing point of view.
Technical Feasibility
The researchers will purchase a lot in Barangay Siapo,
San Jose, Negros Oriental with a cost of Php 2, 000, 000.
The necessary equipment, furniture and fixtures, and
inventories will also be acquired to be used in the
operation for the business. The project site is far from the
neighbouring houses but there is a direct access to the
water and electrical system. The project, therefore, is
feasible in terms of Technical Aspect.
Financial Feasibility
The project is estimated to generate a positive and
very desirable yet still realistic net income throughout the
projected 5 years of operation. The analysis of the
financial statements shows that this project is feasible in
terms of Liquidity, Solvency and Profitability.
Socio-Economic Feasibility

The researchers strongly believe that the said project
will provide jobs to those unemployed people within the
community and may lead to betterment in their way of life.
The government will also benefit from the proposed project
since taxes will be paid and will add to the government
fund. The researchers are also positive that the project
will be issued an Environmental Compliance Certificate from
the Department Of Environment and Natural Resources because
it is in compliance to the standards of a poultry farm. For
example, there is a tunnel ventilation which minimizes dust
and odor and limit the build-up of harmful gases such as
ammonia and carbon dioxide. Therefore, the welfare of the
environment is taken into account. Currently, the area
nearby surrounding the project site has no neighbourhood. If
in case, in the next years, there will be houses that will
be built, the poultry farm will still not affect them.
Therefore, the proposed project is feasible in terms of
Socio-economic Aspect.

CONCLUSION
Therefore establishing Single-Deck Broiler Poultry Farm
is feasible from the management, marketing, technical,
financial and socio-economic point of view.
RECOMMENDATIONS
After making the Management, Marketing, Technical,
Financial and the Socio-Economic aspects, the researcher
came up with the conclusion that it is all feasible.
Therefore the researchers strongly recommend the
implementation of the project Single-Deck Broiler Poultry
Farm at Barangay Siapo, San Jose, Negros Oriental.
