Salame de chocolate

(the one I made using egg)

125g butter;
25g chocolate powder (drinking chocolate);
25g cocoa powder;
150g sugar;
1 egg;
Vanilla essence to taste;
150g Maria Crackers or Rich Tea biscuits.

Method:
Cream the sugar with the butter. Add the egg followed by the vanilla, the
chocolate and the cocoa powder. Fold in the crushed biscuits. Shape it into a
log and wrap with aluminium foil. Chill for about 1 hour before slicing and
serving.
For a no egg version you can just omit the egg I did before and it works or
you can try this other recipe

No egg, Salame de Chocolate

1 can condensed milk;
125g chocolate powder (drinking chocolate)
100g of cacao powder;
50g of butter;
200g of Maria crackers or Rich tea biscuits.

Method:
Add the milk, chocolate, cocoa and butter to a small pan. Heat the mixture
until it looks nicely combined and the butter is completely melted. Tur of
the stove and wait for the mixture to cool down (so that the biscuits do not
get soggy). Once it is cooled enough (not burning our hands on anything,
just warm) fold in the crushed biscuits. Transfer to 2 layer of foil or baking
paper and shape a log. Chill until is firms up enough to cut slices.
