Pershing County Alumni Association meeting minutes

Agenda items
1. Update Association Webpage. The following items were requested to update the Alumni Association webpage: Minutes
of 2016 Alumni Ball, pictures of current board members, phone and/or email contact for each graduating class
especially reunion years, and pictures of Hall of Fame recipients. Mackenzie will forward information to Rachel the
Webmaster and Jerry Facebook administrator. Update and post invitations/information for 2017.

2. Invitations. Invitations for the June 10, 2017, Alumni Ball will be mailed by April 1, 2017. Included in the invitations is
a label and announcement of the 100 year celebration of the Association. Mustang Stampede 5K flyers will also be sent
with invitations. About 1,500 invitations will be printed in Fallon by mid-March. RSVP deadline: May 26, 2017.
Association dues: $15.00.

3. Event: Obtain contract for the Pershing County Community Center. Seek bids for dinner for approximately 250
people/about $25.00 per plate. (2016 200@$23.49 a plate) Mackenzie will send bid letters to local venders with a
deadline of Feb. 27, 2017. Contact Big Wheel-Connie Gottschalk concerning bar. Gather information on security and
insurance for event.

4. Entertainment: Mackenzie and Jodi will contact various live bands as part of 100 year celebration. DJs may also be
contacted. Photo Booth as an option during the dinner/dance.

5. Awards: Update information for 2016 and prepare for 2017.

Alumni Scholarship: Remind 2016 recipients to provide semester/class schedule as proof of enrollment to receive
donation. Must be completed by mid-February or donation given to alternates.
