that resonated in the data collected is the need to provide timelier passwords and course access, as nearly seven
percent of the respondents expressed great dissatisfaction. The Student Services Team will address the issue of timely

Tuition and Fee Increases for Print-Based Courses

Each year, tuition increases at educational institutions throughout the nation. Since the Wisconsin state budget has not
yet been approved, we do not have the exact tuition increase for the upcoming semester. We are hopeful that we will have
this information available by Aug. 1 for print-based courses that begin in September. We will post the new tuition rates
on our website in the announcement area at www.uwplatt.edu/disted as soon as the new rates are available.

The fees for print-based courses have not increased since 1993. The new fees that will go into effect for print-based
courses in September are as follows:

Type of Fee Old Rate New Rate

Service Agreement Fee $100 annually $120 annually
Administrative Fee $5 per credit $10 per credit
International Adm. Fee $15 per credit $25 per credit
Extension Fee $20 per course $30 per course
Portfolio Assessment Fee $50 $75
Portfolio Transcripting Fees $100 (1-9) credits $150 (1-9 credits)
