Brown, Don, and Andrew Arnold. America Is under Attack: September 11, 2001 : the Day the

Towers Fell. New York, Roaring Brook Press, 2011. This book tells about the correct and

complete order of what happen on 9/11. First on 8:46 a.m. , flight 11 crashes intot the

WTC tower one. Next flight 175 crashes into WTC tower 2. Then, flight 77 crashes into

the pentagon. Finnally, flight 93 crashes into ta feild in pensylvania when passesngers try

to take control over the plane. This source he;ped me 9in my research because it helped

me find out the different fatalities that happened on different planes and places/buildings.

This source talked about how many deaths and casualities happened in the specific

categories of 9/11. For example, there were 1,762 residents of New York that died and

674 residents of New Jersey. This source also showed the the number of injured people

which would mean that it showed the number of people that needed to be treated by all

the aid programs. This helped me in my research because, since it showed the number of

deaths and casualities, this telled me that the number of people who needed to be treated

was really really high which was why the aid programs was insufficent.

Frank, Mitch. Understanding September 11th: Answering Questions about the Attacks on

America. New York, Viking, 2002. This book tells about how, why, when, where, what,

and who was in 9/11. The books main point was to inform readers about the background

information about 9/11 so it was an informational text. The book also explains the order

of events and the specific time everything happened which was very useful. This source
 stands out because this source explains the most information about the background

knowledge needed to know about 9/11 to research the topic.

FS2004 - September 11 - The North Tower Attack (American Airlines Flight 11). Narrated by

Allec Joshua Ibay, 2015. This video shows a simulation of the transmissions that flight

airlines 11 and 175 transmits to the control center and the time the plane was hijacked

and crashed into the world trade center. This also shows the exact times the plane was

talking to the control center and the time it was hijacked to the time it crashed. This film

recording was useful becasue it helped show the exact times the plane talked to the

Boston Control Center and what action they took. They decided to send f-15 to intercept

the path of the planes but they werte to late since they were unable to locate the exact

location of the planes. This source stands out because this source is an actual simulation

like what really happened on September 11th, 2001.

Iyengar. My Name Is Khan. Beverly Hills, Calif: 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment,

2010. In this movie, a man has Asperger syndrome meaning he does not like the color

yellow and loud noises. When he moves to San Francisco, he finds a girl he likes and he

marries her after convincing her to get married since she had a son and was divorced.

Since the man was Muslim and his last name was Khan he was Muslim ans the girl

became Muslim to. Later that year 9/11 happens and they are greatly affected. Since the

attacks were done by Muslims, they think all Muslims are terrorists and start to attack the

innocent people. One of the victims was that mans family. He was thought to be a

terrorist as well and at school his son was beat up by high school kids and killed. This is

another way of how people were victims in the 9/11 attacks. This movie is a reliable
 source because this movie answers the question how were victims affected by the attacks

of 9/11.

Tarshis, Lauren, and Scott Dawson. I Survived the Attacks of September 11, 2001. New York,

Scholastic Press, 2012. This book is about a 11 year old boy and tells about that eh visits

New York on 9/11 to visit a firefighter but he s called to the world towers to the fires and

help the people that were helpless. During his rescue he was coupled under the towers

when they fell and died. This upsets the boy and he as well became a victim since the

firfighter was very dear to him. This book was useful because it showed another type of

victim .

This article explained the action that U.S.A. took after the plane hit the world trade

center. The action that U.S.A. took after the day the planes hit, they decided to investigate

the airport surveilence and try to identify the faces of the hijackers. That led them to Al

Quadea. They then tracked Al Quadea and finally in 2011 killed their leader, Osama Bin

Laden. They had tracked them for 9 months and had sent 22 members of the navy seal

team 6 to execute Operation Neptune Spear. This source was helpful because it explains

how U.S.A. responds to 9/11. This source stands out because it explains all the events

that are realted to 9/11 after the attacks.

 world example of a family who seeked a proper 9/11 aid prgram for their needs but since

there were insufficent aid programs they were unable to find some and they family was

torn apart because of all the problems they had. One problem they had was that they had

lost their father because he was a rescue worker and since he was the family member who

earned money, they had financial issue that were unable to be resolved. This helped me in

my research because it helped me show a real world example of a family who needed an

aid program to help them with their financial issues.

background information about 9/11 like specific times and dates. It also shows a

complete timline about specific events that happened on September 11th, 2001. For

example, it shows that on 8:46 the first plane, flight airline 11, crashes into World Trade

Center tower one. I implemented this in my research paper in paragraph one when I talk

about the background information. This was differnet then the other sources because this

source had a timline that showed specific events unlike other sources that just showed

facts about 9/11.
