CLINICAL EXPERIENCE
Under the supervision of an RN, provide nursing care to clients across the lifespan from
infants, children, pregnant women, and the elderly, presenting with various conditions.
Using the nursing process, perform client triage and coordinate with interdisciplinary team
members regarding clients plan of care.

VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE
Haiti Mission Team, Bon Secours Memorial College of Nursing: March 2016
Selected by faculty as 1 of 8 students to participate in mobile clinics. Served more than 400
villagers over 5 days with client assessment, medication distribution and significant patient
education.
U.S. Peace Corps, Hospital St. Croix, Logne, Haiti 2002 2004
Micro-Enterprise Development Officer-Childrens Nutrition Program of Haiti
Created, organized and motivated a total of 125 women with-in rural communities to
participate in a micro finance project.
Delivered micro-credit sessions to educate mothers with malnourished children.
Participated and led in organizing mobile clinics for the Childrens Nutrition Program and
Hospital St. Croix to support community members that could not access the hospital.

Virginia Health Care Foundation, Richmond, VA December 2012-June 2013
Program Officer
Managed and evaluated the Health Safety Net grant-making program for selected health
clinics in the state of Virginia.
Provided technical assistance, organized workshops and roundtable discussions with nurse
practitioners, mental health professionals and grant recipient organizations.
Grants Management, Donor Relations Management, Technical Assistance & Capacity Building:
Oversaw, monitored, and provided technical support on 12 US Government grants with a
portfolio that totaled roughly: $14 million.
Conducted site visits to monitor ChildFund field operations and subgrantees to review
programs and provide support as necessary.
Planned, organized, and managed resources according to the program scope, time, and
budget in order to ensure completion of the specific goals and objectives of the project.
Coached, mentored, and trained regional and national office staff in project, grants
management and internal controls to build/strengthen capacity to effectively manage grant
performance
