recalling the key points in the story. They are also displaying attributes of skill and concept using
context clues to predict the main idea of the story and making observations of the provided photo to
create their narratives

How will you evaluate if students are learning while your lesson is being implemented and
afterward so you can make changes as needed to ensure learning (list at least one)?

I will evaluate students by asking questions about the passage during pause and reflect. I will walk
around the classroom to chime in during their group discussions and have them explain to me their
interpretations during pre-reading. After the story is done, I will walk around again and have them
discuss if their predictions of the story were correct or incorrect and why.
