2D DRAWING EXERCISE -7

Aim : To create a 2D view of the given diagram using autocad.

Procedure:

1. Type the limits in command menu and set values to 300,300.


2. Change the units to mm from inches and also precision to 0 by clicking format->units->ok
3. Z- Enter and A- Enter to zooms to display all visible objects and visual aids
4. Take line command, Draw lines of 1.50,0.375,0.50,0.175,and 1.00 as shown in figure.
5. From start point again draw a line segment of length 1.25.
6. Using Mirror command mirror the created objects , and offset the line to 0.30.
7. Now add chamfers at different corners which is as shown in the figure.
8. Trim all unwanted lines so that we get our required 2D diagram.

Result: Hence the required 2D diagram is created using Auto Cad.


2D DRAWING EXERCISE -8

Aim : To create a 2D view of the given diagram using autocad.

Procedure :

1. Type the limits in command menu and set values to 300,300.

4. By using line command and circle command complete the figure as per the dimensions ,
which is as shown in the figure.
5. Add fillets to the corners with the given radius which is as shown in the figure. Trim all
unwanted portions.

Result: Hence we get the required 2D diagram using Auto Cad.

Aim : To create a 2D view of the given diagram using autocad.

Procedure :

Aim : To create a 2D view of the given diagram using autocad.

2D ISOMETRIC DRAWING EXERCISE -4

Aim : To create a 2D Isometric view of the given diagram using autocad.


Procedure :

1. Change the rectangular snap to isometric snap.


2. Take line command and using F5 for orientation of line complete the required diagram as
per the dimensions which is as shown in the figure.

Result : Hence The required 2D Iso-metric diagram created using Auto Cad.

2D ISOMETRIC DRAWING EXERCISE -5

Aim : To create a 2D Isometric view of the given diagram using autocad.


Procedure :

1. Change the rectangular snap to isometric snap.


2. Take line command and using F5 for orientation of line complete the required diagram as
per the dimensions which is as shown in the figure.

Result : Hence The required 2D Iso-metric diagram created using Auto Cad.

2D ISOMETRIC DRAWING EXERCISE -6

Aim : To create a 2D Isometric view of the given diagram using autocad.


Procedure :

1. Change the rectangular snap to isometric snap.


2. Take line command and Iso Circle command from Ellipse and using F5 for orientation of
line and circle complete the required diagram as per the dimensions which is as shown in
the figure.

Result : Hence The required 2D Iso-metric diagram created using Auto Cad.

3D MODELLING EXERCISE -2

Aim : To perform 3D modeling of an object using autocad.


Procedure :

1. Change the workspace from Drafting and annotation to 3D modeling.


2. Complete the model by constructing rectangles and circles as per the dimensions , which
is as shown in the figure .
3. Use the options Pressfull command and extrude complete the model.

Result : Hence the required 3D model of the object thus created.
