Types of Texts & Oral Reading: Continue to explore form and function of non-fiction text. Begin to classify and describe past and present day civilizations (including Dubai)
using information reports. Inquire into features of nonfiction narratives, fables and mythology during shared and guided reading to appreciate role of storytelling throughout

Reading Strategies: Gathers information using table of contents, captions, glossaries and indexes with guidance. Continued focus on reading fluency, expression and

Students will be participating in a Tennis unit in which they will:

Students will continue to explore recycled art, reflecting on how they can use art to show their responsibility towards creating a sustainable future. They will investigate what

materials can be used to create their own recycled robot and then construct a unique robot with a focus on form and balance.
