for a 92 500 DWT Bulk Carrier

‘Abstract: 92.500 DWT bulk carrier was a type of vessel production developed under a booming shipping market
with good performance on various aspects at that time. With different designs China, Japan and Korea constructed
big amount of the vessels. After the dramatic depression for the last 2 years,the matching of the new type of carrier
with the market lagged behind. The high oil consuming feature weakened the competitive power of the owners, To
clear up the doubts of some clients, four-month technology guidance and research was performed on eight invested
‘operating ships. With first-hand data and material ,the feasibility demonstration on the speed reducing and energy
saving technique on bulk carries was completed.
