teacher at your school. I have obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science and
am currently working on my Masters of Education degree as a part of Tarleton State's TMATE
certification program. With my experience as a substitute teacher and love for science and

My teaching goals are geared towards the empowerment of middle school students. I have a
strong passion to educate young minds and help them blossom into well-rounded,
responsible, and successful individuals. My strength is building strong, trusting
student/teacher relationships. My lesson plans are fun, engaging and hands-on.

I have been out of the workforce for the last 9 years to raise my children. I am excited to use
the knowledge I have gained not only through my coursework, but also my real life
experiences. To be honest, being a teacher was not something I aspired to be until my own
children began elementary school. It has given me a new perspective for the importance of
top quality public school education.
