There are 3 different types of industry engagements that the Confronting Climate Change project is offering; each

with a specific target audience and intended outcome. The workshops are presented at a subsidised fee and spaces
are limited therefore booking is essential. Additional workshops can be arranged over and above those listed below.
These workshops can however not be presented at the subsidised fee. Please contact us for more information.

2017 Carbon footprint workshops

Expected Timeframe: Approximately a 3 hour session
What will you be doing? During the workshop, the technical team will run through the carbon calculator tool in a
step-by-step manner, and the audience will be guided through the process and will input their data into the data
capture tool. Provided the necessary data is brought to the workshop, the carbon footprint can be completed during
the 3 hour session.
What to bring to the workshop? Your data, your laptop (with power cables & extension leads) and a fresh mind!
Full data requirements will be outlined in the guidance material that will be sent through to confirmed attendees. It is
advisable that the necessary data is gathered beforehand and brought to the workshop.
Cost: The workshop will be presented at a subsidised fee of R450 per person. Once you have confirmed your
attendance the payment details will be sent to you. It is required that payment be made prior to the start of the
workshop. Please confirm your attendance with Anl Blignaut at anel@bluenorth.co.za. Once you have confirmed
we will forward payment instructions. Included in the cost of the workshop is the B-grading of your dataset.
Outcome to be achieved: The audience will have the required tools to complete their carbon footprint for the year,
the results of which can be used for marketing and/or management requirements. The CCC team will gain access to a
data set that is accurate and representative of the industry, to be used as part of the industry benchmarking analysis.
The identity of any individuals data will remain confidential.
