1. Reflection What did I accomplish this week in the field?

Classroom and Students Other Professional Areas
I came up with work to do on Valentines Day,
spur of the moment, when both Library and Fine Continued working ahead on lessons
Arts ended up canceled. for reading and math.
Made it through parent teacher conferences, I
thought they went well.

2. Reflect personally on your experience in one of these areas.

I really liked how Valentines Day morning was handled. We were supposed to have Library for 30
minutes, and then Fine Arts for 40 minutes, but both of those ended up canceled. I then had to
figure out how to work around that and keep students busy. I jumped right into some math
lessons, as if that were the plan for the day all along. Which is was to some extent, but I had also
planned on 70 minutes of the kids not being in the class.

3. Looking ahead What do you want to focus on next week? What goals can I set?

concepts, while pushing others

Continue trying to find the best method
for dealing with a difficult student.

4. Reflection on Goals from Previous Week: Did I meet my goals from last week? Explain.

I am doing better with having work for early finishers; I have often been able to pull out worksheets, for those that
finish early. I didnt have to track student talking this week, they have been working at acceptable levels recently.
The few others that may have talked out more, had to clip down, so they owed me some recess, but the others were
not punished with them.

5. Did I review my goals and progress with my Site Teacher? Yes.
