Reflection
I worked to ensure that I thought out questions before my lessons and made them accessible while teaching. I
believe in some of my classes I was able to build a relationship with the students that encouraged them to take
risks with their answers. I would like to continue to work on this goal however because many of my questions
were ultimately regarding topics that only had one right answer. In the future, I would like to give students
(especially in higher grades) more chances to interpret their pieces in order to make it their own.

Goal 2: Creatively address multiple learning styles

Reflection
When working through difficult sections of music, I tried many different ways to work with each ensemble as a
whole. I often discussed with my TA different strategies for when particular rhythms werent working with
students. When in the science classroom I believe I incorporated different activities, questioning, and teaching
to an extent that in many lessons, most of the students were able to connect to the information in some way. I
had to work towards this and it was more successful as I got to know my students.

Reflection
This is the goal that I was most pleased with over the course of PSII. I believe I was able to observe, develop,
and utilize many management strategies throughout the different classes I taught. I changed a lot from my
direction in PSI to better match my own ideas of teaching and I think that helped me maintain control in most
cases. There were of course times when my boundaries were pushed and occasions where I let behaviors slide,
but I hope to continue to develop strategies throughout my career.

Goal 4: I will make time to read at least one chapter of a

book before be every night.
Strategies Indicators and Measures of Achievement

Reflection
This goal was easy to achieve at the beginning of the semester, but as I got busier I was often going to bed so
early that I didnt have time to read every night. That was saved for weekends!
