Sonic notes
Tube and Tape echo. Slightly faster than the timing indicates for flavor. Nice
wow/flutter control and extra drive. Wow/flutter is too much when full and sounds
best when 0-1/4 IMO.
Transistor echo. More of a BP or HP sound on the delays. More present than the
tube echos but not transparent like Digital Delays.
4 delay types in one unit. HD1 and 2 as well as HD3 and 4. HD1 is on the tap, HD
2 is twice as long, HD3 is three times as long, HD4 is four times as long. So for a
quarter note HD1 is a quarter, HD2 is a half, HD3 is dotted half, HD4 is whole.
The timing is just slightly off to give flavor.
Analog Delay - Warm. Sounds like a an LPF on the delays with a tad bit of tube
warmth
Analog delay (non transparent a bit lo-fi) with slow chorusing. The chorusing
sounds more like a very slow pitch lfo than a chorus.
LFO sweeping sharp Q sound. Sounds best with low to mid mix. 60s type delay
with automated LFO sweep.
Delay is grungy with low bit echos.
Transparent, clean, basic delay with treble and feedback

Transparent Delay with added chorus. However, the mod is more of a LONG pitch
bend than a chorus to my ears. Sounds best with mod from 0-1/2 and any depth.
Two adjustable delays in one if running mono. Control L and R ms delay
independantly. Delay sounds just like the original signal (pretty transparent)
Offset controls how offset one delay is from the other. It ranges from 0 at the
same time to 1 at twice the length exactly. Spread is probably for stereo and
doesn't effect mono. Delayed sound is a bit high passed to get rid of about
100Hz and less as a guess.
Not the most intuitive reverse pedal. The Mod and Depth control and LFO
modulator. The delay controls both how long it takes to delay AND how long the
sound takes to fade in?
Keeps volume of echos turned down to allow your playing to come through. The
Thresh and Ducking set the threshold for your playing to being ducking echoes
and the ducking sets how much you want to duck the delays. EXCELLENT
STUFF :)
Volume fade in (bowing effect) echo with tape wow and flutter. SUPER COOL for
ambient music.
Used by pink floyd it uses a magnetic platter to record and play back. GREAT for
short delays and color. Has wow/flutter and Drive control.
Based on optical tremolo used in blackface amps like fender twin. EXCELLENT
tremolo with velocity sensitivity adjustments. Shape goes from 0 (sine) to 1
(square). Fairly transparent when at high part of tremolo.
Very warm slow moody tremolo.
Defines patterns in quarter notes. Each knob represents how many notes will
play during each quarter note.Square wave

Standard phaser sound. Adjustment for phaser stages 4-12.

Known for it's big jet sound. HUGE sounding phaser. Very thick and trippy. The
two phasers beat against each other for a very cool effect.
Built in panner and 4 stage phaser. Sounds like a cheap phaser in mono. Not sure
how it sounds in stereo

Only ramps up or down. Very smooth sound. Unique type of phaser sound to me.

Simple plain phaser. Only controls speed. Sound good though.

See Hendrix "Machine Gun". Preset shape that sounds like a sawtooth wav. Cool
sound
Van Halen sound. Sounds best with a delay in the line. A bit subtle when only the
flanger is engaged.
Jet like sweep. More obvious than Analog flanger. Sounds WAY cooler and more
useful to me than the analog flanger!
Average sounding flanger ranging to super thin to SUPER wide. Sounds kind of
washy.

Odd unique flanger effects. The enhance knob makes things overexaggerated in
a way that could be useful on a rare tune. Not a go to flanger, but interesting
Nice sounding chorus, but seems to do limited sounds well. Sounds best with
speed in the middle, medium depth, 3/4 mix and tone up almost all the way.
Three choruses in one unit. Cool possibilities. All sound similar to the analog
chorus

Stereo chorus unit. Subtle nice sound even with all 4 engaged. Useful tone.
Just like it says, it does vibrato with subtle pitch changes. Kind of a chorus
vibrato. Think of the sound of moving a whammy bar. Only sort of useful and
better if you have an expression pedal to conrol when it goes wild!

Just a panner with velocity sensitivity. In mono it's vibrato.

SRV "Cold Shot". Think of it as a SUPER quick light leslie effect.

Leslie like effect. Not a very effective clone. More like it's own effect in a leslie
style. Doesn't get the drive of a leslie or the same rotary effect I'm used to.
Very nice ring mod with plenty of cool experimental tones to be had. Definitely
begs for an expression pedal to be used!
Kind of like a ring mod, but not nearly as cool as the other one. This serves one
purpose and one effect.
OCD "like" distortion. Best when treble is below 1/2 way. Harsh sounding and less
3d than my analog pedals.
Sounds kind of close to my Maxon OD808 overdrive after some tweaking. It's
harder to tweak, but actually about an 8.5 out of 10 on tone. The OD808 is still
better though and the M13 sounds a tad bit smeary and less 3d in comparison.
Try Drive 3/4, Bass 1/2, Tone 1/2, Treble just over 1/2 and output 7/8 for SRV
setting.

Designed to slam input of guitar amp. Similar sound to the OCD, and althought
it's better than the tube drive, it still lacks definition compared to pedals.
Best for leads. Heavy aggressive 70s distortion sound
Metal sound early 90s. Doesn't sound great to me, but hey I'm not a metal
player...
Nice sounding distortion. Seems to sound best with drive 3/4, bass 3/4, mid 1/4
treble 1/4 or less and output 3/4. Best on leads and not chords.
"I can't get no satisfaction". Best on leads. Stones lead kind of sound. Mid and
High heavy with very little body
"Jimi hendrix" "eric Johnston" tones. Heavy, plenty of body, fuzz type of sound.
VERY cool and useable for leads or power chords.
Led Zeppelin "communication breakdown". Noisy harsh fuzz. Best on leads, 70s
sounds, and power chords
Wicked sustain.Very cool for only leads or drones.
Scorpions. Phaser and Fuzz in one unit. 80s sound. Does one thing pretty well,
but I'll never use it.
60s sounding drive. Best on leads. Muddy and undefined with chords imo.
OVER THE TOP! Metal or hard grunge sound. Best with mids down almost off.
Cool on guitar OR bass. Really neat effect. Fuzz along with a sub octave
generator.
. Less in your face than the Sub Octave Fuzz, but equally usable. Simple
Fuzz PLUS and octave up. Jimi hendrix. LEAD ONLY. Very distorted and bright.
Best with output at 1/10 (Almost none) and drive almost full. Bass mid and treble
around 1/5.
Average sounding comp. Very obvious that it's compressing and sucks some life
out of the tone.
Just for swells. Needs an Expression pedal!
Better compressor than Boost comp. Still audible and takes some tone away, but
has good sustain. Recommend keeping sustain 1/3 or less.

Similar to red comp

SUPER bright. Too bright IMO. It will make you turn down your guitar output for
sure. Compression is less obvious but DAMN bright
2:35:1 and 12dB of gain. SMOOTHEST sounding compressor in the bunch. My
style of compressor for sure.
Same as above vetta comp but with 30dB gain
Smooth and more warm and transparent compression than the red or blue. I'd
stick with this or vetta comp.
Standard Equalizers that don't seem to change tone when on but are rather
there to allow boosting or cutting frequencies to make tone changes. They
sounded fine to me.
Part auto wah, part triggered filter. Harsh high sounds if you don't turn your
guitar treble down a LOT! Try 1/4 Freq, 1/4 Q, Low, BP, and 1/2 mix.
Similar to tron up but since it goes down the harsh highs are an issue Try 1/3
freq, 1/2 Q, High, HP, Mix 100.
Think of 8 parked wah pedals being stepped through in a sequence.
Unfortunately their positions are fixed so this is only cool for on thing :(

Random frequency step filter. Again neat, but one trick pony.

Meh, just ok vowel effects and hard to tune properly IMO.

Kind of cool for new voice box like wah.

VERY cool droning LFO style filter. Lots of interesting filters here to be found.
Similar to throbber but with extra velocity sensitve option to make it go faster
with velocity. Couldn't hear in stereo
Similar to throbber but barberpole style.
Bright to dark or dark to bright. Excellent sounding flow filter!
other worldly effects. Kind of like a ring mod mixed with an auto filter. Only good
for odd tones.
Synth tones replacing your guitar tone. 8 waves. Very cool with an expression
mod to go between two pitches.Good for one note at a time.
Similar to synth o matic. Cool sounds. Only 3 waveforms, but they are very cool
and kind of dirty analog sounds.Good for one note at a time.
Good for one note at a time. light synth string tones. Adjustable attack
Combines auto wah and the GR700. In your face lightly distorted synth tone.
Cool.
Parked wah OR regular wah with an expression pedal. takes a bit of setting up so
the pedal down q isn't too steep and the highs don't jump out at you.
Use as a normal wah pedal. Sounds better and smoother than the Q filter for this
purpose. It has a decently High Q in the mids that can be cool or not. The pedal
down position sounds best at 9/10s instead of all the way up.
Smoothest wah in the bunch for a normal wah pedal.
Similar to Fassel but possibly smoother
A bit growly in the lows and low mids. More tone than the other wahs.
I like the tone of this more than chrome. Seems to have a sharper Q.
Strong mids, low end, wide sharp Q.
Old sounding wah. Not as linear, but has character. Shaft like. Darkest warmest
wah sound of the bunch.

Vintage sounding Wah.

Smart pitch shifter/doubler. Cool effect and very useful.

AWESOME pitch glide. 4 octaves so you can use it to approach chords from 2
octaves below OR to raise notes up to 2 octaves above after playing! Great stuff.
Surf tones or western. Very springy. Usually sits VERY low with decay time (1/8)
and ms (under 80) for me. Mix is usually about (1/5)
Springy and hall sounding. Sounds fairly accurate to the source.
EXCELLENT plate. Lush at long plate settings and also great at short plate
settings.
Ok at an echo chamber, but fails as a room. Expect a reverberant like concrete
space sound from this.
Just amazing as an ambient style reverb. Explosions in the sky style :)
Very good hall, but I like the chamber more.
auto ducks reverb while playing. Seems to now work so well and isn't very useful
IMO
Lush harmonized decay. Excellent ambient tones.
80s soundtrack sounding cave.
Short early reflection. Great sounding verb once again. Kind of slapback like.
Almost a delay with verb.
Echo with reverb. Kind of like a dry spring on steroids.
Turns chords to a padThree modes - Stable, Critical and Hazard. One of my
favorites in this box!!!
