One of the major initiatives of the Honors Student
Advisory Board over the past year has been to find
ways for Honors Students to connect with Honors
alumni for advice and mentoring. To that end, on
Thursday we're hosting our first-ever virtual "Meet
the Alum" program. Our guest (via video confer- British Marshall Scholarship Info
ence) will be Dr. Laura Hart, Clemson class of Session | 4/12 | 4:00pm | Great Hall
2007, now a research fellow at the University of
North Carolina School of Medicine. London Summer Program
Info Session | 4/12 | 6:30pm

Dr. Hart attended the University of Cincinnati
School of Medicine, and then pursued residencies HONORS CONTRACTS | Please submit
in both adult medicine and pediatrics. Her work no later than May 5th
involves studying the transition from pediatric to
adult care for patients with serious chronic illness-
es.

I encourage you to attend Dr. Hart's virtual

presentation this Thursday, April 13, from 8:00
-9:00pm in the Great Hall. This event is open to
all students, but might be of particular interest to
premed students.

Although it is not necessary to reserve a place for

this event, if you are planning to attend please
RSVP at melisso@clemson.edu -- we want to be
sure we have the right amount of refreshments!

Thanks to the entire Honors Student Advisory

Board, and especially the chair, Zoe Ayers, for
their great work this year. And I'm looking forward
to working with the Board again next year, and
especially to the leadership of the new chair, So-
phie Nance.
