In this biography of Indira Gandhi, the first
female prime minister of India, Dommermuth-
Costa describes Indiras lifelong involvement in
Indian politics, and her assassination in 1984.
The book follows a detailed account of Indiras
life from her childhood all the way up to her
assassination. It has an interesting perspective on
Indiras life mostly highlighting the better parts
of it.
The source is comparatively recent, having
been published in 2002. Dommermuth-Costa
cites other biographies and firsthand
accounts. The book is well credited and
conceived from a multitude of different, well
reputed sources. There is a substantial
amount of verification and support present in
the book.
The source is valuable for my assignment
in the sense that it is basically provides a
large pool of information through the in
depth explanations provided. I plan on
using it to devise claims or topic sentences
based on the information provided for the
main sections of my presentations.

The encyclopedia from Yorkin Publications
presents biographical profiles of significant
women from throughout the history of the world,
each with birth and death dates when known, a
time line, quotation, and references, arranged
alphabetically. The Indira Gandhi portion of the
volume has an extremely direct yet
comprehensive account of what her life entailed.
The book is a volume of highly renowned
and reputed encyclopedias about women in
history and is relatively recent. This volume
like others from the encyclopedia's series
gathers information from well credited and
strong sources which include biographies and
tertiary texts written and published by
esteemed individuals. The source is from the
library and all sources in the library are
credible and up to date.
The portion on Indira Gandhi supplies
extensive information that is directly
related to the purpose of the assignment.
I will use the sources information to link
back the whole of prompt of the
presentation and it will serve the purpose
of drawing the bridge between.
