Steppingstone 1
As a Christian teacher, we should know the importance of curriculum. And lead all
the curriculum to God. We should know the aims of the curriculum very clear and
teach our students in a right way. God created everything also include the
curriculums. To guide our students to reach the truth.

Steppingstone 2
We should choose a curriculum orientation very carefully. The book talked about four
different curriculum orientations. Which are traditional, process/master, experiential
and Christian. And we are the Christian we already know what is our orientation for
us. We supposed to lead our students to the God. This is our responsibility for us. We
should do it step by step.

Steppingstone 3
In this evil world, we need to know our responsibility and burden for this generation.
The Christian worldview is totally different with this evil world. This is not only
about the knowledge and this is about life. We are not only taught our students the
head knowledge and we will use knowledge as our tool or key to lead our students to
know God. A classroom is just like a small community. All truth is Gods truth and
guide our students to obey Gods commands. Give our students a good environment to
study and let them know love our God and others. The Love is most important thing
in our classroom.

Planning classroom units is a very important lesson for teacher. Before we start, we
need have a very complete plan for our lesson or subject. To make a plan for
everything but on the other hand, we also need to be flexible. Because all of these
things are not always in control. We should have very complete plan for everything.

To understand how to be a good teacher and what kind of teacher our students needed.
We should be an effective teacher and we need to learn more because we need more
time to prepare ourselves. Many characteristic need us to know. Just like motivating
personality, never give up our students and we should keep to encouraging our
students. For example, for some subjects are very boring we need to make it more fun
to help our students to understand it more. To love our students.

To be an effective teacher is important for us and also important for our students. To
be an effective teacher means dont waste our time in some meaningless things. We
need to know what should we do. We need to use our time very effectively and
manage our class very well. The class management is very important for teachers. To
know our purpose well and reach it.

Planning instruction is an essential part in teachers life. We should know what to
teach? How to teach? This chapter talked the classroom management and we should
have rules for students that can help us have an effective to study. For us we are the
future teacher we should know the benefits of planning. We can handle problems and

Four instructional alternatives: presentation, discussion, independent study and
individualized instruction. Sometimes these are very good tools for us to teach our
students. We can use these four ways to test our students understanding for our
lesson. It can help students and also it can help teacher to know the level of their
students. As a teacher, we need to be creative in our classroom, and to think the best
way to teach our students. So many ways to teach our students to choose the best way
for our students.

This chapter introduced other ways to help students to study. There are so many ways
can help our students to study. But as a teacher, we need to figure out which one is the
best way to help our students learn better. Teachers are also need to study and teachers
are same as students. We just in different ways to study.

The assessment is a good way to test our students understanding and also their level.
Through the assessment that we can know the weakness and their strength of our
students. That can help teacher to help our students and also help our students to
develop their potential or gifts. For teachers, we need to know our students level that
can know how can we help them to grown more.

This chapter is talking about the class management. we need to know how to handle
the problems that we will face in the future. This is a very important part for our class.
We need an effective classroom and when we know how to manage our classroom
that can help us to make our class more effective. When we face the problem, we
should know what is the main reason about this problem. What kind of reason lead to
this problem? How can I handle this problem and avoid hurting my students?

The reflection is important for the students and also for the teacher. The reflection can
help teacher to reflect themselves. No one is perfect, and for a teacher we need to
keep learning. Also the reflection can help students know their weakness and strength.
The only thing we should do is to keep reflect our students and ourselves. We can
make it better and better. To be a reflective teacher.
