The Prodigal son is a famous bible story in - Personal Testimony
the bible which talks about a rebellious
son who went his own way but came back
to his father, and the father still accepts
him and celebrates his return. The
student will learn the essence of the story
and put the lesson in their hearts.

Time Instructional Procedures and Strategies
Beginning the Lesson
5 Fast Talk: The teacher will ask the students individually to share their week in
mins 15 seconds only, asking the student if their week has been a good week or
bad week and the student will explain.

Developing the Lesson


25min The students and the teacher will read the story together then the teacher
s will explain and he would first let the students interpret the story, and let
them understand in how they understand it, then the teacher interprets it
correctly. He would then show the connection of how it relates to our personal
relationship with Jesus.

The teacher would share his personal testimony of how he strayed away from
5mins Jesus, and returned receiving the forgiving grace of Jesus.

Students will be divided in groups of 3 and each member would share what
10min they have learned and how they could apply it in their lives.

Closing the Lesson

The students from each group would decide which one of them would be
sharing their personal testimony in the class.

s The students could not leave the classroom until they submit a 1paragraph
reflection that explains what they have learned today.
