Product Concept
All around the world, all financial institutes have moved from paper currency to
electronic currency. As it is easy to monitor and trace, this concept was started by
Apple, when it launched Apple Pay in 2014. This new concept of carrying a
digital wallet with you and it is in your cell phone, attracted the populace. Same
concept and idea will be tried to implement in Pakistan. This app can strengthen
the financial institutes structure. It can provide the banks the cliental they lack up
till now. This app can attract all ages of users who can operate a smartphone.
Carrying a large amount of cash with you in any city Pakistan can be stressful or
losing a signed cheque, KPTL can handle all this for you. It can also prevent frauds
and bounce cheques.

. The economic condition of Pakistan can be challenging and unpredictable, if our


App thrives here then it can survive in any part of the world. Core Concept behind
this app is to switch people from paper currency to digital currency, that can be
accepted at any place and can be much easier to carry with you and without
worrying about getting mugged.

This app KPTL is designed to focus on finances of any individual. It generates


automatic reports describing all major and minor details. KPTL can easily
connect to your bank accounts. Sometimes it is unclear why amount is being
debited or credited in your account, KPTL is aim to simplify all queries an
individual can have, managing or balancing accounts can be time consuming but
with the help of this app it can be done in seconds. All accounts can be managed by

using this app. Adding your credit or debit card into the app, makes it more secure,
and can be used at famous retailers and brands.

KPTL concept of operation revolves around the usage of smartphones, as these


handheld devices have been so integrated in our daily lives that one can hardly find
anyone without the smartphone. A survey was conducted to ensure that how many
users of smartphones are in Pakistan, as the growth and stability of our app
depends on it. Survey was conducted in late 2015 and it gives an estimation of our
target market.

These statistics show that 80% of general populace is using the smartphones, but it
should be kept in mind that not all them will be using the app. But prime target
market for the app are banks and retail store. If they agree then in return, free
marketing can be provided to them. Initially banks with small market share will be

included in the app and slowly and gradually moving up, banks with sizeable
portion of market share can be added.

Marketing Plan
Marketing plan is based on research documents available online. Each bank in
Pakistan has its own share of market. Big names like Standard Chartered, UBL,
Habib Bank are most likely to ignore such ideas. Small banks such as Allied Bank,
Faysal Bank can be easily swayed, these banks dont have any app. Apps structure
can be improved and others banks can be added.
Marketing Mix

Price:

App will be free and will be available on major online app markets. Revenue can
be generated by transactions done by banks clients. On every transaction, a small
amount of 10 RS will be charged, because taxes in Pakistan might change the mind
of customer.

Promotion:

Attractive strategy can be we can provide online shopping option T.O.S


(TensionFree Online Shopping). Major names like Daraz.pk, Homeshopping.pk,
telemart.pk, Shophive.com can be negotiated with. Banks that have agreed to use
the app can promote the application. Social media marketing can be done and SEO
(search engine optimization) can be performed to yield better results.

Place:

Its a digital content that does not need any physical store. Digital stores like
Google Play and Apples App Store can be used.

Customer Feedback is the most important part of any business, as customers
expectations and demands tend to change accordingly to time for this purpose and
updates on the app a online portal has been registered under the name of
kptlblog.wordpress.com which will be launched with the application.
