The Glasgow Wrestling Clubs
season officially came to an
end with a Pizza and Bowling
Party this past Sunday at El
Cor Del Lanes. It was a great
wrap-up to a very successful
season that featured right
around 90 kids coming out for
GWC this year, easily a NEW
club record for participation.

Glasgow Recreation Center.

annual Spaghetti Feed & Pie Auction held at the Glasgow Elks Lodge #1922. GWC is
happy to report that through this fund-raiser, along with the raffle tickets and a booth at
the State Walleyes Unlimited Banquet, well over $40,000 has been raised thanks to the
generous community support. Contractor bids for GWCs new facility are due by May 1st.

The 2nd Annual Red Thumb Reminder Day is this
afternoon in downtown Glasgow from 3:30-5:30.The
Valley County Health Department, along with Glasgow
High School, JMG students, student council, and
community participants will walk the community this
year. Everyone is welcome.
Participants may go to the City/County Library,
the Community Room of the Court house, The Loaded
Toad, the Police Department/Fire Department; at
each place there will be an Anti-texting and driving
activity and a snack. Participants will earn a stamp at
4:00 - 6:50 - 9:15 each location and cards with 4 stamps can enter into
a drawing for prizes. Help us to make Valley County a
safer place to live. Join with us to increase the awareness
of the dangers of texting & driving and be leaders in
PG-13 intense sequences of sci-fi violence and
action, and for brief strong language changing these behaviors in our community.

Prayer...the One Thing!

One late afternoon this month I
was walking home after teaching
and heard a few familiar voices
coming from the prayer garden

what it did to my heart to recognize

God during the few spare minutes
