Project Title: Dealing with the Stress and Emotions of Cancer in Nursing
A. Project Abstract:
As a nurse, I will have to deal with patients and their families that are affected by cancer. It is important for a nurse to know how to deal with the stress and emotions that come
with cancer. This topic is very interesting for me because my father had cancer and the nurses really helped us out throughout the years. My goal in this project is to research ways
to deal with patients and families stress and emotions that come with cancer. For my product, I will create a brochure explaining how nurses should deal with the stress and
emotions of patients and families during the process of finding the cancer, treatments, surgeries, bad news, new life adjustments, and death. My audience for my presentation will
be my CTAE teacher and anyone who would benefit from my research.

Organization This project will stretch me to be more organized and keep up with my materials so that my project will be well put

D. Project Justification: It is important for nurses to understand how to deal with patients and families affected by cancer. This project is fitting for me because I want to become
a nurse and I have past experience with cancer.

E. Product Justification: I will create a brochure that explains how nurses should respond to and deal with the stress and emotions of patients and families affected by cancer. I
will compile all of the information from my research into certain categories that will then be inserted into my brochure.
