Tsunami
earthquakes landslides on the sea floor land slumping into the ocean large,
a created which displaces the bed and causes extreme tension in water. The water
the water levels. And the waves start 5. away from the point of tension.
Tsunamis are barely felt as a triple on the ocean surface as the 6. is quite
deep. But, as and when those waves reach the 7.., the water becomes
shallower. And the waves constantly increase in the height they hit the shore and
oh my, cause a lot of destruction it is said the first wave a of 8... is not the
strongest but the successive 9 are bigger and stronger and tsunamis can
travel at a speed of about 500 miles per hour which is almost as 10 as a jet
plane, and thats why tsunami waves are called killer waves .

Life Of A Butterfly
There are four stages in the life of butterfly, the egg, the caterpillar, the
pupa, and the full grown butterfly, this life cycle is known as Metamorphosis.
A Butterflys life starts inside a tiny little egg, the egg can be of various
shapes and colors, they have a thin but tough shell for protection. At the top of the
egg, there is a small pit called the micropyle, through which air and water enter
the egg this stage lasts for about 3-7 days there is developing larva inside the egg
when it is time to hatch the larva tears open the egg shell with its jaws the larva is
called the caterpillar, after hatching, most caterpillars finish eating their eggs as
their first meal.
then they feast on the plant on which they were laid this is the main
feeding stage caterpillars eat all the time and grow very quickly for about 2-5
weeks when the caterpillar reaches its right size it finds a suitable place and
weaves a silk pad around it. its called a pupa if you open your eyes and look
around in your garden you could be lucky to spot a pupa on a twig, a branch or a
leaf the protective shell of the pupa is called chrysalis after a period of 1-2 weeks
a very beautiful butterfly spreads its wings and tears the chrysalis to come out of
the pupa and that is how you see such beautiful butterflies flying all around you
the avearge life span of a butterfly is 20-40 days.
Types of Rocks
There are three major types of rocks, based on their information and they
are Igneous Rocks, Sedimentary Rocks, and Metamorphic Rocks. Igneous Rocks
the name Igneous is derived from the latin word Ignis which means fire. So
Igneous rocks are formed when the molten matter inside the earth. Called magma
comes out of a volcano and later cools down and solidifies. There are two types of
Igneous Rocks, when the magma cools down and solidifies inside the earths
surface, They are known as intrusive igneous rocks. when the magma erupts
above the earths surface and solifidies. Extrusive igneouse rocks are formed
Purnic and Granite are some examples of igneous rocks.
Metamorphic rocks when the igneous and sedimentary rocks are exposed
to high temperatures and pressures, they undergo change and process of changing
from one form of rock to another is called Metamorphism, but they, that takes a
long time. Maybe thousands of years. However this process doesnt melt the
rocks, but instead transforms them into denser, more compact rocks. slate and
Marble are some examples of the Metamorphic rocks.
