I would use this form for self-assessment while designing the course along with my institutions
policy. Since page 1 is related to Course Expectations, I would like to assess before the class
starts. Subsequently, pages 2 and 3 assess items are associated with weekly lessons
(e.g., learning objectives) and weekly activities (learning assessments), I would have copies of
those two pages for the weekly modules to check if each one of them meets the criterions.
Finally, I would invite one of the support staff members from my institute to use the form to
assess my course design two/three weeks prior to the beginning of the semester (The time will be
determined with her/his schedule). This would allow sufficient time to make the
appropriate adjustments to improve the course design.
