HowhaveIdevelopedthiscompetencyduringthiscourseorprofessionalseminar/fieldexperience?
My
field experience has helped me to develop this competency, but I am aware that I need to keep trying
to
improve my communication skills. I am able to communicate clearly, accurately and appropriately with
the
teachers and students, however I feel a little nervous when I need to talk in front of a large class. In
order to become a teacher, I will need to overcome my nervousness and to work on developing more
confidence.
I need to practice speaking in front of crowds more often because I believe the more I
practice,
the more I will master this skill. To look more natural and confident are the main goals I want to
achieve. In fact, the last day of my field experience has given me a boost of confidence after I did the
lesson
that I prepared with my peers. The students loved it and I was really happy to see that. I started to
realize
that I have the capacity to achieve my goals and it is only a matter of effort and time. Additionally, I
have
developed my writing skills by correcting students' vocabulary tests and reading comprehension
tests.
